SQRD Lab has officially acknowledged a software configuration issue in their reporting system, resulting in the misclassification of certain infused flower products. This technical error, not a failure on the part of Alkhemists or any other affected brands, led to the omission of the Residual Solvent Adulterants panel required for infused products.

While SQRD Lab has stated that there is no indication of residual solvent adulterants in the affected products, the California Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) has issued recalls due to the missing panel in compliance testing.

  • This was a lab reporting error, not an issue with product integrity.
  • The recall is administrative—there are no safety concerns.
  • SQRD Lab has corrected the issue and updated its internal quality control processes.
